Can give us a brief about your family and your Journey from as a delhi girl to Hyderabadi as a heroine in Telugu cinema?
My Dad is into Airforce and since my childhood we used to travel entire India. I’m more of a south Indian because I did my B.Tech from Bangalore and been there for almost 8 years before stepping into films.
Did you face any problem with the language?
I actually felt very easy in learning Telugu compared to other languages. I feel it helps a lot if I know the language. It would be easy to essay the role and give better expression when I know the language. Telugu people are very friendly and warm welcoming.
When did you felt that you want to become an actress?
Actually, I never planned to become an actress. I was studying and then got into modeling just to get some pocket money. Initially I didn’t have any inclination towards films because I had never taken up any acting course also. But once I got a chance in Maaya and started shooting, I understood the passion and dedication of the people, they put in here and then I started to love films. Then I realized I should work very hard and this is exactly what I wanted to do. Now I really fell in love with films
At what age you entered into modeling?
I got in to modeling in my 2nd year of B.Tech and after 6 months of modeling, I got a chance in Maaya. I was getting movie offers from a very long time but then since I didn’t know the industry I was a little skeptical to accept. After some time I got a chance in Telugu film industry, I heard a lot about the industry and I thought I should give a shot.
