KCR: Division Of Khammam into Two Districts

kcrTelangana State Cheif Minister Chandrasekhar Rao has expressed his interest in dividing the Khammam into two districts. Telugu Desam Party leader and former minister from Khammam Tummala Nageswara Rao joined Telangana Rashtra Samithi party on Frdiay at TRS bhavan in presence of TRS chief. A meeting was held on this occasion and KCR made this interesting comments in this meeting.

Chandrasekhar Rao expressed that he is in favour of dividing the Khammam district in to two parts with Kothagudem as the new district. Speaking on the resources in Khammam District KCR said that it has potential to split into two districts. While speaking about Khammam, KCR said that the district had rich natural wealth and the Steel Authority Of India Limited (SAIL) had recently approached the Telangana government with an offer to invest 30,000 crores in setting up a steel plant at Bayyaram. Cheif Minister said he had special plans for the development of the district and he will pay special attention for development of Khammam.

While speaking about Tummala Nageswara Rao, KCR said that Nageswara Rao is a spotless leader with whom he associated since the inception of Telugu Desam in 1982. A large crowd from Khammam turned up for the meeting prompting the Chief Minister to say that the event should have been organised in Nizam College grounds. It was his mistake that he did not plan the meeting that way.
