Hero Adi who entertained youth audience with his previous outing “Gaalipatam”, arriving this time with Mass-action-entertainer. Rakul Preet who is having dream run so far is the leading lady, Srihari played an important role. Lets see Rough telugu movie review.
A typical action love story told in commercial format, Chandu(Adi) who is an orphan have this helping attitude and believes in love. He falls for Nandhu(Rakul Preet) instantly at the first sight and he decides to marry her. Nandhu is the only sister of Multi-Millionaire Siddarth(Srihari)
Instead of proposing her, Chandhu reveals his intentions directly to Siddarth. Siddarth upsets with it and he never wants chandhu to marry her sister. Turn of events reveals that Chandhu is convicted in a murder case.
Does Nandhu accepts Chandhu’s love? What is the reason behind murder case on Chandhu? Forms the actual plot.
Despite of being having good artists, director opted a routine and predictable storyline which at no point surprises audience, And the routine plot was told with zero novelty. Scenes seems like hurried on to the audience. While the first half goes off in routine order of comedy, action and song sequences, but makes it interesting at the interval, Confrontation scene between Aadi and Srihari though routine came out well.
Second half has been so dull and feels dragging, film offers nothing but hall full of yawns. Director could not handle love track between Rakul and Aadi well, which is a very crucial one for this kind of stories. Comedy too feels stale.
Aadi certainly have potential to become one of sought after heroes in tollywood. He acts with ease and dances with grace. But, he have to choose the scripts wisely. It is not everyone’s cup of tea to become a mass hero.
Rakul Preet for this talented young lass this films adds no credits to her career, Her looks too disappoints in the film.
Srihari’s presence is a big highlight for the film, he is perfect and carried the role with elan. He is undoubtedly one of the greatest artists of our times. Remaining roles played by raghubabu, shiva reddy and gabbarsingh gang are decen.
Director Subba Reddy has chosen a routine love story and completely failed in executing it. Screenplay of the film could have been much better and the dialogues are just about ok.
Cinematography of the film is good and especially the songs have been shot well. Mani Sharma’s music is decent but the background score is below average. The editor has done a poor job as he could have easily chopped off many extended scenes to reduce the run time.
Routine Stuff, Below Average.
